Tax Policy
Effective Date: March 27, 2025
Welcome to QCD (the “Website”). This tax policy applies to all orders placed through our website. It explains how taxes are applied, calculated, and the buyer’s responsibilities.
1. Applicable Taxes
Depending on tax regulations, your order may be subject to the following taxes:
Value-Added Tax (VAT) / Goods and Services Tax (GST): Applicable in certain countries or regions.
Sales Tax: Applicable in specific countries, states, or regions.
Customs Duties & Import Taxes (For International Orders): Determined and collected by the customs authorities of the destination country.
2. Tax Calculation & Payment
Taxes are calculated based on your shipping address and displayed at checkout as part of the total order amount.
In some countries/regions, taxes are collected by the seller, while in others, the buyer is responsible for paying customs duties and import taxes upon delivery.
If your order qualifies for a tax exemption (e.g., small-value shipments exempt from customs duties in certain regions), the system will automatically adjust the tax amount at checkout.
3. Customs Duties & Import Taxes (For International Orders)
International orders may be subject to customs duties, import taxes, or other charges imposed by the destination country.
Buyers are responsible for understanding and complying with their country’s import tax policies and for paying any applicable fees.
If a buyer refuses to pay customs duties or import taxes, resulting in the package being returned, we may deduct related costs before issuing a refund (if applicable).
4. Tax Invoices & Documentation
After completing your order, we can provide an electronic invoice upon request.
If you require a company invoice or specific tax documents, please contact our customer service before placing an order.
5. Tax Refunds for Returns
If you return an item for a refund, certain taxes paid may not be refundable, depending on local tax regulations and logistics company policies.
